why was this so repetetive?

i loved all the bright places but this book just didnt do it for me. It was very repetitive and the romance was badly done ~(>_<。)＼

I agree, I really did not like this book. It was very YA and not done in a good way. It focuses on Libby's obesity way too much; I know the story highlights her obesity to show just how difficult life is for her, but that seemed like it was all about. I wanted to know more and it never gave anything to me. I DNF'ed it right before I finished it and just looked up the ending because it didn't seem worth finishing.
