All of the request boards are running several weeks behind right now so patience and perhaps good luck are your only options.

you definitely should NOT make multiple requests. Bumping may or may not help depending on which librarian is working the board. Frequent bumping is probably not going to help - some of us are working the oldest posts first and when you bump you automatically make your post the newest, thus putting yourself at the bottom of the list. Some librarians are also working newest requests first though.
That having been said - this board is almost caught up now.
