I did not enjoy this one so much. It was a struggle to finish it. I felt the writing was too flowery with such heavy descriptions of everything that it droned on and on about what the main character was seeing. I felt it lacked character depth and ultimately, I am still not sure what I read at all. I will leave this trilogy in the past where it belongs. I'm sure I would have enjoyed this more if I were a reader in 1938 but for me there are certainly more captivating sci-fi books I'd rather read that have been published since.
