We must all connect to the renewing energy and beauty of trees. For me, it's the the redwood tree in front of my apartment balcony as I listen to the birds, journal and meditate/pray with one of my two cats on my lap.

When I wake up in the morning and walk out to the living room. My orange tabby cat is usually laying in my chair and when she hears me walk by she meows happily and flops onto her back for a belly rub. Every morning.

Christy wrote: "Thanks for getting folks to pause and share the good Kat!"Thank you, Christy! Finding joy in the simple moments has been life-changing for me - I even wrote a book about it! :)
One of my favorite simple joys is when I get a quiet 20 minutes to myself with a good book and a cup of coffee, usually early in the morning before my daughter wakes up or during her nap. As a young mom and entrepreneur, life moves fast, so those little pockets of stillness where I can slow down and feed my mind through meaningful reading feel like gold. It’s not just relaxing, it reminds me why I value learning and growing, even in the middle of a busy day.I’ve also been diving into the Reading Genius method lately (www.readinggenius.com), which has been a game-changer in how I approach books and absorb what I read. Thought I’d share in case anyone’s looking to get more out of their reading time, too!
What’s your go-to joy moment in the day?
