Adding edition of another authors book to my Want to Read List

I have tried to use the option of add a copy, usually there is a listing of "import a copy". But for the book I am trying to add this particular edition, I have just purchased from KOBO, this option is not available. I tried using add a copy, and filling in the ISBN 13, with the publishing details for this edition. The system says the number is not valid.

Barnes & Noble, for titles not published by Barnes & Noble Press
Bol.com: http://www.bol.com/nl/index.html
Google Books
Indiebound
Kobo (although Kobo editions are permitted on the site, Kobo is not a valid source for covers and other book data)
Library Thing
Powells
Shelfari
All other (non-publisher) bookseller sites

So, you can add the book without the ISBN or cover and put Kobo in the edition field.
