I’m excited to read this! I wouldn’t preferred to read it after I finish the mistborn trilogy and the stormlight archive but I’ll manage! The cover is sppp

I read this in January, and I gave it 5 stars. I love how Sanderson takes story clichés and turns them on their heads. Even when I thought I knew what was going to happen, I totally didn't... He's also good at letting really awful things happen to his characters. I was genuinely concerned at several points, because I know he's not afraid to let his characters encounter discomfort and even pain. Ya know?

I am excited about this one! The few pages I read while walking home from the library were super! Very different from Sanderson’s usual style too.

I haven't read anything by Sanderson yet, and was not planning on starting with this one, but I guess I will be lol. I'm interested to see how I like it. There's currently a copy in transit to my library for me. :)

Yes! It’s a standalone, although one character is in all of the books in the Cosmere. This is one of many plants in the same universe.
