Since SJM likes to pair everyone up,

I was actually imagining Gavriel and Asterin....they've both had beloveds, and have lost them. Kindred spirits in that--plus, both are ferocious, experienced, immortal warriors that could 'handle' each other. But with big hearts underneath. :)

I do think Ansel would have a rockin' good time wtih Aedion, lol, but that doesn't seem to be the plan. Aedion and Lysandra appear pretty destined to pair up at this point. (although SJM has pulled a 180 more than once and a protagonist switches gears--lovers, so ya never know....) ⁻\_(ツ)_/⁻

My favorite is Fenrys and I just want him to be happy and in EoS when (view spoiler)[ Maeve took him with her back to Doranelle (hide spoiler)] I cried.

I actually kinda think Fenrys and Asterin would make a good pairing but IDK.

I just don't get how Gavriel legit loved to serve maeve. like in the scene where they are talking to fenrys and Gavriel about maeve... how he wouldn't give it up or something like that? that he liked it. uhgg I don't get it... on another note (EOS SPOILER)....I love how elide turned lorcan into a smol bean by the end of EOS. You go Elide! Put the big brooding warrior into the box of shame!!!

At the end of EoS, Ansel(view spoiler)[ seemed to kinda like Enda, Rowan's cousin, but he's already married to his mate so that doesn't work out. (hide spoiler)] She and Ilias never had a romantic relationship, and I don't really know/think they will.

Oh, I thought I recalled Ansel seeming really flustered around Ilias but I guess it could be the whole being a traitor thing (I don't really remember much stuff from the Assassin's Blade, need to go back and reread those).

Gavriel had always been my fav cadre member and I was so sad to learn about what had happened to him in KoA. His fate is probably one I regret the most.

Mother above, Graviel's death turned me into a sobbing mess but the thing I was most sad about was that he didn't get to swear the blood oath to Aelin.

Do you think it still counts in the end? Technically was he was already willing, so maybe once the blood was in his mouth, he already took the blood oath.
