Sam goes to the homicide scene and tells Malone she’s handling the case but doesn’t tell him about Brooke’s possible connection. It wasn’t until Gonzo pressed her to be forthcoming that she acknowledged this to Farnsworth who removed her as lead. Do you think she would have waited longer if not for Gonzo or would she have done the right thing? Your thoughts about it all?

If Gonzo hadn't pressed her to tell the Chief, I think Sam would have kept her mouth shut for a while longer.

She definitely would not have come forward without Gonzo's prodding. Bad form!

Just as I was beginning to believe that Sam was maturing and becoming a better person, she does this and reminds me why I dislike her.

Sam would not have come forward with the news about Brooke except for Gonzo's prodding. I don't think Sam will ever follow protocol completely.
