He did have a point because he was exhausted and needed the time with her, but I do think he overreacted and to a bit of a selfish attitude at first. He gradually came around to support her and her family fully and regretted his earlier reaction.
Nick was really looking forward to some time off with Sam and Scotty. When Sam went back to work, he was mad that their plans fell through. I could see this happening to anyone. It took him a day to get his head straight and regret what he said to Sam.
It wasn't like they were going anywhere. Nick threw a fit and I lost a little respect for him over it. I'm glad he was quick to see he was wrong and get on board with finding out what really happened to Brooke.
Nick's tantrum was SO out of character. I did not understand where it was coming from as he came across as unfeeling and selfish, which he had not been until now. I was disappointed in him. That said, I like that he realized how hurtful his attitude was and this conflict did not linger or take over the story.
I agree with Anita on this one. Nick went crazy for nothing. If Sam had a scheduled vacation out of town, I would feel differently. Nick would expect her to do the same for one of his close friends or family. He redeemed himself a little by coming around so quickly. I like how Scoty took up for Sam when Nick was complaining to him.
