Pern is an excellent choice. Xanth is a magical paradise (and any children born there get a magical power). I think I'd like to visit the world of The Culture if not only for the universal healthcare.

Excellent point. But I just want to visit, not stay.
 Narnia would be wonderful to visit, I think. The Shire would be lovely. I think Asimov's Foundation would be an interesting place to visit, too.

     Piranesi's house in Piranesi. It sounds a wonderful world with endless rooms and halls to explore, many statues, and rising and falling tides. Then there is the mystery to solve of why he is there.
