The Macavity Award is named for Macavity: The Mystery Cat by T.S. Eliot. The Macavity Awards are nominated by members of Mystery Readers International, subscribers to Mystery Readers Journal, and friends of MRI. The Macavity Awards will be presented this fall.

I was getting all excited that my TBR might be safe because I had read six of the Macavity award nominees until I realized the Canadian Excellence nominees below those added even more tempting sounding books. I can attest to two of those being well worth the accolades as well.
Now to see which ones of the others I can shuffle onto the ever-evolving TBR piles.
