Michelle Gilmore Lara wrote: "Ok, so since I'm new to goodreads I decided to give a challenge a go. It sounds like fun... but as I put my list together I wondered if someone could explain how you guys type in the titles as link..."

Hey Lara. When you are posting, you should see a highlighted link right above the comment box that says, "add book/ author". Just click there, type in the book title or author's name. Then at the bottom I believe you will see add title and add bookcover. Just click on which ever one you want. I hope that helps :)

message 118: by Tara (last edited Oct 29, 2009 10:26PM) (new)

Tara | 596 comments Hi Nancey!

This is only my second challenge, but if you go back and look at the October challenge it will give you an idea of what people do. After each book you re-post your list and strike out what you read. (it makes it easier for Mel W. to track and she always reminds us of that with the updates.) A lot of people also either rate the book are write a review.

Good Luck!

message 119: by The Flooze (new)

The Flooze (the_flooze) | 1593 comments Yay, another one for Soulless!

Nancey, you can update periodically so that the moderators can add you in to the group progress reports. Take a look at the October challenge thread and you'll see how people update their posts, crossing out what they've read so far, giving the number of books (ex: read 3/9), and sometimes listing brief comments.

Welcome!

Sigh, I had THREE trick-or-treaters--all 3 my grandkids. :o) They each got a pack of full sized candybars. Different ones so they can "mix and match" if they so desire. I haven't bought candy in forever, since I haven't had anyone come to my door in years--but for some reason, hubby decided THIS year would be different. I'm thinking he cooked something up with Oz. :oP
