"He scarcely could act naturally " should be "he could scarcely act naturally."

True! That's the reason nobody could refit the pieces. They had changed shape.

It depends on the size of the girl and the man. During the Middle Ages, in Europe, there were women who carried men from ships to land, for a fee.

Well, it's not really a translation error, but what should we call the Regent of Tiva? Sometimes she appears as Taria and sometimes as Laria. I have the feeling that the correct one is the last one, I would like to know the author's opinion.

This was a typo in the first edition of the third book, which has been corrected in the current editions. Of course, you are seeing it because you have the first edition.

Yes it is the first edition that I have. How should I call the regent then?

Book 2, one that caught me was the use of 'margin' I assume it was boarder or edge.

" On the other margin, a grass meadow dwindled to the west and turned into a waste steppe. "

"They stopped that night at the near margin of the Cali river. "

"On the seventh day, they were reassured when they found themselves in the margin of a river. "

There are several other instances as well.
