20.6- It's A Fact- KathyP's Task-Summertime Dreaming

Summer is a time for games but it is also a time for relaxing. There is something particularly relaxing about laying back and looking at the clouds.

Since I am the winner of the It's a Fact task read a NON-FICTION book that fits on these options.
Required: State the option

Option 1: Read a book with clouds on the cover. These can be drawings or photos but you must be able to identify them as clouds.

Examples:
The Wives A Memoir by Simone Gorrindo How the Irish Saved Civilization The Untold Story of Ireland's Heroic Role from the Fall of Rome to the Rise of Medieval Europe  by Thomas Cahill Jesus Land A Memoir by Julia Scheeres In Praise of Wasting Time (TED Books) by Alan Lightman The Last Castle by Denise Kiernan

Required: post the cover

Option 2: It is especially nice to lay back on the grass while looking at clouds. Read a book with all the letters of GRASS in the title. Subtitles are excluded.

Option 3: After staring at clouds for a while it is time to jump in the pool. Read a book with a single author, whose first and last initials can be found in SWIMMING POOL.

Marie (UK) (mazza1) | 3940 comments I am right in thinking the book has to be non-fiction? the example you give of The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud is listed as Fiction , IN fact all 3 examples are of fictional works and I want to be sure that I am not limiting myself to non-fiction when a fiction will work.

Lisa Hickman (lbhick) | 1527 comments The task says to read a Non-Fiction book, but the examples given in the cover option are all Fiction. Just want to get clarification on the non-fiction requirement.

Trish (trishhartuk) | 3675 comments Morning

Just checking if this is okay for clouds for Option 1:
D-Day: The Battle for Normandy.

And if it is, I just wanted to clarify. This is clearly a Non-Fiction History book, but for some reason it includes Military Fiction as an MPG. Is that still okay if the clouds work?

Thanks.

I would listen to audio version with this cover.

I think the cover has cirrus clouds, not smoke. Does it work?

The books do need to be non-fiction. I have added new book examples.

Yes the books need to be non-fiction. New examples have been added for the first option.

Those are definitely clouds and it does appear to be a non-fiction book so I am approving it.

KSMary | 1181 comments Does this book meet all of the requirements? Proud: Living My American Dream
On AR Bookfinder it lists this book as IL: MG BL 6.7 AR Pts 10.0
and only lists Ibtihaj Muhammad as the author which would satisfy Opt Opt 3

I got this book from the library last year and didn't realize it was a young readers edition until I was halfway through.
