just cuz for some poetry its like two sentences on one page. so i don't want someone js to speed read a bunch of poetry or comics yk to get points.

yes that counts!
or if u start a book and the next month it turns out to be the BOTM and you finish it in the month it’s BOTM then you can also get the bonus points.

yes thats fine! remember u dont need to log a book as soon as u finish, you can also wait till your review is ready too. either way is fine :)

yeah i guess you can count it, but instead of giving yourself the full amount of points, only give yourself points for how many pages you actually read. so if you only read 100 pages of a 260 page book, only give yourself 10 points instead of 20.

How to Play:
All participants have been split into two groups. To discover which group you are in, check the listing in the Team 1 and 2 topics. Whichever team topic lists your name, is the team you'll play for.
The goal of the game is to read as many books as possible to earn points for your team; the team with the most points at the end wins (if anyone has any prize ideas, DM me)!
To earn points, you will log what books you finish during the event. This is an example on how you should log the book you read:
Once Upon a Broken Heart
408 pages
(review link if you wrote one)
points earned: 50
There will be a key posted in each team topic showing how you should give yourself points based on how many pages was in the book. So for the example above, 401-500 pages amount to 50 points; because OUABH is 408 pages, I've given myself 50 points.
Bonus points can be earned by linking your review on the book you've read. The review must be longer than 3 sentences. Star ratings do not count as full reviews either. This will give you a extra 10 points. So, if I'd posted a review with the example above, I'd give myself 60 points.
Another way to earn bonus points is reading the BOTMs that take place this summer. By reading the groups BOTM, you not only get the points earned by the page number of the book, but you get a extra 15 points for reading the specfifc book.
These genres will not count to this challenge:
-Mangas/Graphic Novels/Comics
-Poetry
-Picture Books/Childrens Books
-Fanfiction
Rules:
-No cheating! If I find out you've cheated all points earned by you are deleted and you're disqualified.
-Do not comment on the team topic that you're not part of! You can use the general chat topic to communicate to people on the other team.
-Don't be a poor sport if your team loses. Be kind and respectful to everyone, please.
Remember I have the final say; even if something isn't listed here, I can still ban you for being inappropriate.
Have fun! Remember, the event starts June 1st and ends August 31st!
