They are widely available and represent a variety of genres and interests. I hope you will be able to find one that interests you. For the Group reads task, you only have 4 choices.

I only recently noticed that when you look at a list, it tells you how many you have read from it, and how many are on your TBR. What a cool feature. I gave many of the 9 that I have already read 4 or 5 stars, as well.

Haha, I also came to see if the other options had been forgotten, because practically all of these books are brand spanking new. Every one of them I've checked so far has a wait list at my local library, and most of those are multiple months long when the library has them at all. There are a couple I wouldn't mind reading, but I'll be depending on good luck with Libby to get this one done, lol.

Wow, I didn't realize this would be such a contentious task. I had already read 9 of the books, and I'm strictly a library user.
If it helps, here's the breakdown of publication years:
2024 - 7; 2023 - 14; 2022 - 13; 2021 - 5; 2020 - 6; 2019 - 2; 2018 - 1; 2017 - 1, and 2014 - 1.
I hope you can find something to read that you'll enjoy.

Lol, not contentious, just different. Mine's probably worse. :P

Can it still be used?
Trish wrote: "So, a quick question. At least one book on the list, Dear Edward, doesn't specify which state it's in. Just that they plane took off from New Jersey.
Can it still be used?"
Yes, that is the state they designate it for.

Yes, that is the state they designate it for.

One of our goals in retirement is to finish up visiting all 50 states (we’re currently at 37). Road trips are one fun way to do that. Even if you can’t physically make the trip, Goodreads came up with a list of 50 books representing each state, so you can read your way around the states. Using their recommendations, I created a list. Your task is to read a book from this Roadtrip Across America list, and identify the state it’s about.
