Easy and good books to start reading in English?

I use to read in spanish, and I want to change the language.
The only novel I read in English was "my life with the Walter boys". I like to read romcoms, romantasy and thriller.

try the housemaid it shouldn't be too hard I don't think but it's easily translatable imo if you need to swap over

The Lunar Chronicles - it is amazing storytelling with simple language.
We Hunt the Flames
It ends with Us - but it is spicy if this is something you dont like
