Suffice to say that I agree with the tag 'weird fiction'. This was definitely strange and at the end, a bit of a let down with the resolution, if it was one. From a sci-fi sort of vibe turned into something a bit more mundane and rather unpleasant. Still a little bit sci-fi, I guess, since it's all set in the future. Probably not one I'd recommend as even if the mystery behind this world was interesting, it wasn't really a fun read and with the disappointing end, just really wasn't worth the effort.
