Book 4 is the start of the "Earth" arc, the description is for after it as evidenced by: "Their experiences on Earth still linger".
One of the characters mentioned in the description is a massive spoiler for the readers, and I believe this description belongs to a much later book.
Amazon has a better description that does not spoil things.
