When John said "the world" in John 3:16 and in 1 John 2:15, he didn't mean the exact same thing; "the world" in John 3:16 means people/nature, and "the world" in 1 John 2:15 means the mindset of worldliness, that this world is all there is.
(And yes, I do believe in a worldwide flood. I believe the beginning of Genesis is all meant to be taken literally)

(If they’re a kind by themselves, then there were two Komoda dragons on. What I meant by my post, was there wouldn’t have been two cayotes, and two wolves, and two labs, etc etc. there were two dogs, and all other dogs have come from them)
