Well...first leaving, and then dead, and yet...Stephen is a tricky one. When I die, I will try to be equally is tricky (but there is no way my sister will be on my PC...)I do appreciate his respect for David.
Anyway...there are very few bands which just changed all of music. In my life time, I can think of maybe three, and really I think its two. Nirvana was one of the great trend setting bands. Kurt Cobain committed suicide and crushed a whole lot of fans. The rest of his band went on to be the Foo Fighters. But Nirvana is still very much loved today. As for Kurt's antics, well...a lot of artist types are not very godly, specially in their younger years.
