Why does my total no. of books not match?

Hi,

This is a small detail but it bugs my eye. :)
Can anyone explain why my total no. of books says 197 when all my shelves put together is 180? I believe that 180 is the correct number so I do not understand where the extra 17 comes from?

Hi Jesper,
I know the problem and understamd why it bugs your eye ;). For books its necassary to mark a category (read, want to read, etc.) and optional to mark 1 or more shelves.

So I think not all your books have a shelve added. For example; I have a bigger number shelves then books, because I give some books 2 shelves. I don't know an easy way to check the books, I think 1 by 1 is the best way. Goodluck!

Thanks for your reply. :) So I just extracted the “All (197)” view to Excel and there is… 180 books. So I do not really know where to look for the remaining 17. I think it might just be a bug on the site?

Just found out that there is a thread where you can ask to have your count reset so I will try that. :)
