Gwen hasn’t taken the time to talk to Lanny and Connor about what happened in Lancel Graham’s basement during their abduction. Was this a curious decision or the right thing to do to give them time to decompress?

I was torn about this decision: I would be terrified for two of my children to have experienced that abduction and subsequent time in the basement.

I don't think I could have left them behind without trying to be present for their decompression...Poor Connor and poor Lanny. They certainly didn't get any breaks from their dad's followers.

She should have had a sit-down with them and found out exactly what happened in that basement. They had valuable intel that Gwen needed to know in order to take down Mel.

This was life or death for them all and the kids, traumatized I'm sure, needed to be part of the solution and not withhold information.

They can all "decompress" after Mel is back in prison or dead.

If I were Gwen, I would have tried talking to them. I'm not sure they would have responded. It seems like at least one or both of them would have clammed up and stayed in their room. But, at least I would have tried.
