Kyrgyzstani: Mother Earth (Toprak Ana) & other stories by Aitmatov.
Hungarian: The Melancholy of Resistance by Krasznahorkai.
Spanish: Dona Barbara by Gallegos of Venezuela.
Portuguese The Return by Dulce Maria Cardoso of Portugal.
Czech: The Joke by Milan Kundera.
Albanian The General of the Dead Army by Kadare.
So I already have read from seven translated languages.

Dutch: All Souls Day by Cees Nooteboom.
Russian: Cancer Ward by Alexsandr Solzhenitsyn.
Norwegian: Growth of the Soil by Knut Hamsun.
That makes ten, so need just 1 more for my goal of eleven (and Interpreter level)- that'll be French I think. Might be a couple months 'til I get that one read. then I'll probably get two or three more by year's end.

That reaches my goal of eleven and Interpreter level.
I am most of the way through a book from Turkish, A Strangeness in My Mind by Orhan Pamuk which will make 12 and just started one translated from Yiddish, The Manor by Isaac Singer, for 13th language.

Yiddish: The Manor by Isaac Bashevis Singer (immigrated to US from Poland)
Total- 13
I'm reading one from Spanish and one from Portuguese now but I already have those languages in my list this year. I'll try to read one translated from Armenian and one from Japanese in the next few months.

Arabic: Miramar by Naguib Mahfouz of Egypt
Total: 15
I also read a 2nd book translated from Portuguese (History of Siege of Lisbon - Juan Saramago), 2 more from German (The Case of Sergeant Grischa - Arnold Zweig, and Billiards at Half Past Nine- Heinrich Boll ), several more translated from Spanish [total of 5 from Spanish this year] and a 2nd from French (Three Musketeers).
I didn't get to the Japanese book, will start it in January though (The Temple of Dawn by Yukio Mishima). I would have made "Linguist" level with that- dang.
