We don't just need a cover image, but we need an acceptable link to a NON-BOOKSELLER'S bookpage enabling us to check/verify the book's details, e.g. isbn and/or asin, cover image etc. etc.

Alternatively, if you have the book, we can use a scan/photo of your copy of the cover and the page with the publication information, the book's colofon page.

The cover image I posted is from the pdf copy that I have. There is no ISBN - note that this is a book from the 1950s, before ISBN was introduced.

Any updates please? Has Goodreads considered a better model for adding new books? I'd suggest that users be allowed to create 'unverified' books that would appear in personal libraries, but wouldn't be searchable or listed in author's profile until they have been verified by a Librarian. Otherwise it's quite disappointing to wait half a year with no end in sight...
