How to walk away by katherine center was my most recent cry-while-reading. LOTS of tears
IEWU I read this one and only CoHo book and then I ran to Romantasy
I might sound dumb but harry potter and the deathly hollows😭😭
before the coffee gets cold. those last 5 pages or so recked me :)

omg acowar had me bawling and the ending of the mistborn series always breaks my heart
you know the the Inheritance Cycle series by Christopher Paolini? the book where Brom(i think?) died, i cried. I actually like mourned him too. I cried so much. It was devasting, I was so sad. I think Paolini did a great job establishing their relationship so when he died you felt really bad.
@Tessa Bluebell Schroederdamn that must have been rough! my school had a lockdown last year too, but it was bc we were swatted. I was in a room with a bunch of glass and door outside. the teacher saw an undercover cop so he told us to run outside and then we saw two classmates but thought they were bad guys for a sec and then we figured out they weren’t so then we ran outside, and we ran all the way to the church. it was every man for himself. legit somebody pushed someone else down to get over them. i ran thinking there was a shooter behind me….i cried so much and then it turned out okay but it was still so scary. I get your trauma lol even though mine turned out to be “fake” i mean technically it was real but nothing bad happened.

the boys of tommen series made me bawl in each book even though theyre happy emdimgs somehow it is still the saddest series i have ever read

All the bright places was the first aggressive outburst of tears. The second time I reacted like that was towards the end of Kingdom of Ash (the girlies that know, know)
