message 101: by M.J. Rodriguez (new)

M.J. Rodriguez | 71 comments I prefer reading on Kindle, as it has a built-in lighting system. I find it best to read physical books, those with glossy pages in particular, during the day, when I rely on the light from the sun.

message 102: by Madissen (new)

Madissen | 82 comments I prefer physical books 100%, there’s just a different feel to it that I don’t get from reading on a kindle or electronically. But I’m not adverse to reading a book digitally and have done so before- that’s mostly if I am either traveling (though I still bring physical books with me lol) or I receive an ARC.

Nicole | 27 comments my kindle is the loml, so much comfortable!!

message 104: by Naima (new)

Naima Embry | 10 comments Physical books definitely.

message 105: by Ann (new)

Ann | 2 comments Physical books are nicer in my opinion, I guess I love actually feeling the book in my hands lol

message 106: by Misz_r4ra (new)

Misz_r4ra (r4ra) | 3 comments Kindle definitely!! I hvnt read paperback for quite some time now 😅
Its light..can read in the dark (read : night mode)
Adjustable font size ..

Puddles Meo | 4 comments Reading from physical books is so much better than reading from an electronic device. You have more control when reading a paper book in keeping your place. In addition, electronic reading is passive in nature because of the digital light that the eye scans over. It is books for me all the way!!

message 108: by TJ (new)

TJ (tejaljain) | 6 comments physical books for sure.

message 109: by Ayansh (new)

Ayansh Saxena | 18 comments physical obvi

message 110: by Tanja (new)

Tanja | 315 comments physical book. And I don't have a kindle, so this option is not available for me

message 111: by Richaar (new)

Richaar | 133 comments I prefer reading on my Kindle. I usually buy the books, but read them on my Kindle. It's just easier. I read faster this way. I can see how long it takes until I finish a chapter or the book. And annotating goes really fast. This way, my books don't get damaged. But it also prevents my wrist to inflame again for the 4th time from holding my fysical books while reading. hahaha I have weak joints.

message 113: by Janet (new)

Janet (janetswhite) | 2 comments I prefer my Kindle. I can read late into the night and the light does not bother my husband. I can see how many pages until the end of the chapter. It’s very convenient toslip into my purse and take with me. I only need to charge it every 2-3 weeks. Love it.

María de los Ángeles Linares (dearangie_) | 2 comments both are fine to me, but I LOVE me some physical books.

message 115: by Jenny Baker (new)

Jenny Baker (jennyrbaker) Physical books, and I prefer trade paperback over hardback. I have a Kindle, but I don't use it much. I really don't know why. I have a lot of great options on it. I would like to start using it more.

Charly (Penelope Douglas’s version) 🥀 (haloyoustole) | 6 comments I prefer physical books, mostly because I love annotating and making pretty/cute notes in the margins. I know I can technically leaves notes on my kindle, but there’s something about physically having the book in my hand and doing it.

message 117: by Susan (new)

Susan Vrabel-Williams | 26 comments I like the convenience of a kindle, i get the majority of my books, now, as ebooks. But i still love the feel of "real" books!

message 118: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer Starkey (jenniferstarkey) | 1 comments I like Kindle because I'm able to read in bed while my husband is sleeping. I do like actual books. The smell and the feel of books always seems so relaxing to me.

message 119: by Susan (new)

Susan Christ | 31 comments I wish I could read a physical book or Kindle. I read 100% on audio. I can also consume the book while doing other thinks. If I could, I would pick a physical book.

message 120: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Spofford (asildroffops) | 20 comments I do mostly kindle and audio for a couple reasons. I read a lot of arcs and alcs and they typically come in kindle or audio form. Also I use the library a lot, but I am terrible about remembering to return my books on time, so if I borrow digital versions they return automatically and I don’t have any fines.

message 121: by Malissa (new)

Malissa (malissa1578) | 163 comments I prefer e-books now, I use to be physical, but it is so much easier taking my kindle everywhere with me and my kindle library.

message 122: by Julie (new)

Julie Failla Earhart (juliefaillaearhart) | 15 comments physical book

message 123: by isa (new)

isa (isabellelyt) | 4 comments kindle, it's more effective for me.

message 124: by Marion (new)

Marion Over | 27 comments both

message 125: by Maya (new)

Maya Johnson (pisces92) I tried reading on a Kindle, but I couldn't keep focus. I already stare at my computer screen when I'm drawing so having to read a book strains my eyes. I can read fanfiction on fanfic sites sometimes, but even with those it takes me forever.
I like physical books. The smell and feel of them always calm my nerves. Plus going around a bookstore and looking at physical books, I have to buy them and create my own library. Staring at them makes me happy.

message 126: by Deviki (new)

Deviki | 4 comments Both. But I prefer physical books for book with over 400 pages

message 131: by Christina (new)

Christina Ramos | 1 comments I love reading physical books I like and the way the pages feel when having to turn the pages, the weight of the book in my hand and the small of the pages.

message 132: by Em (new)

Em | 78 comments Recently brought a kindle, and I love it. It means I can buy more books and not have to deal with the space issues.

message 133: by Em (new)

Em | 25 comments physical books as it’s nice to have a whole collection on your shelf

message 134: by Stacey Brown (new)

message 139: by McKaely !!! (new)

McKaely !!! | 25 comments I really enjoy physical books, but I also enjoy reading from my kindle from tiny to time!

message 140: by sarah (new)

sarah | 287 comments I like a book in my hand and turning the pages even writing some notes but the kindle is good when I need to listen to audio. I just got into this book on my kindle On the RED and man it’s getting good.

message 141: by Alexandra (new)

Alexandra (alexandrasav123) | 3 comments Paper mostly, these times. I would use the kindle more if there were more books available in my native language (Romanian). Most of the library for kindle is in English. Not that I don't appreciate English books, they're great mostly for international books and NF, but I have long periods where I feel like the native language writing "hits" me differently, especially for literature.

message 142: by Sara (new)

Sara | 69 comments I prefer physical books but mostly I read online books beacuse they are free.

message 143: by Stewart (new)

Stewart Wallace (ginjar) | 4 comments I'm a kindle man myself, but I could be swayed to buy physical copies of my favourite books if there was a nice special edition

message 144: by Julie (new)

Julie | 22 comments Physical book for sure. I love books plus it’s so much easier to page back if you need to remember a character, location, etc.

message 145: by LifeWithMidori (new)

LifeWithMidori | 5 comments Depends on the genre and what I am doing. I tend to read on Kindle if I want to read it fast. If I want to take my time I will read physical. I love listening to Audible/Libby at work, driving, or doing errands. I guess it also depends on the time. At night, Kindle. During the day, Physical or Audible. I tend to read Horror, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Thrillers and Romance.

message 146: by Kaytie (new)

Kaytie | 72 comments both, but I've been on a kindle kick the last few months.

message 148: by Betsy (new)

✨🍃Britt🍃✨ (brittsully) | 1 comments I LOVE a physical book but I ran out of storage. Now I use Kindle, which I love as well, but order the hardcover physical copies of my favorites.
