What’s a book you’re to scared/nervous to start?
mine is you've reached samive heard such great things about it and i dont want to be disappointed.

ive been looking for a book that'll tear me up and ppl keep saying this one but im nervous i wont like it
I’ve actually read girl in pieces, personally I thought it was kind of heavy given the topic. But overall I enjoyed the book enough to buy a physical copy after reading it online. It’s sad but it didn’t make me cry sad. Idk if that makes sense.
haunting & hunting adeline definitely
Honestly, both of those books were good for me, but I would only recommend them if you like dark romance. They are not for the faint of heart. Definitely read the content warning page before starting. Also I felt like Hunting was way like WAY darker than the first book, which a lot of people don’t mention.

Dance of Thieves. The reviews here, tiktok and everywhere are very polarized. Either they love it, or hate it and the ones that hate it, HAAAAATE it.

why nobody say a little life?? I read it but before to start it I was so scared
For four years now, it used to be a little life, but I started reading it recently (in increments obviously, otherwise it’s too heavy and depressing).

I've had this book in my TBR for a year now and still refuse to start it. Something about all the reviews is holding me back.

I definitely think it's worth reading only if you’re prepare to be affected in so many different ways. A little life is a really powerful and emotionally gripping novel. The raw emotion coursing through every sentence is just amazing.
I recommend it honestly even if I’ve only read 200 something pages. I definitely think it’s gonna leave a drastic impact on my whole perception of humanity and just general wellbeing. If you’re not the type to read really depressing stuff, don’t read a little life 😭 or this won’t be a good read for you. I never check the trigger warnings (idc tbh they just spoil the whole story for me) But if you’re not comfortable, you should probably check them :))

Literally every emily henry book. I have 3 @ home but can’t get myself to start one
the entire SJM universe... it's going to consume me and I won't stop until I finish them all... knowing me I would probably do the books back to back and I am not sure if I have it in me now...
