Review:
Deva and her men are forced to flee the DIA and embark on a course that will lead them into a direct confrontation with Astaroth. The book was well paced, plenty of action and romance. It was nice to learn why Astaroth was so interested in Deva and learn more of her personal history. The only thing I didn't like was the cliffhanger ending. A solid edition to the series. 4 stars

I was a bit worried about the final installment in the Phases of the Moon series. The other series that I have read from this author ended very abruptly, almost anticlimatically. I'm happy to say that this ending was an improvement over the others. Deva is rescued and together with her men. The traitor inside DIA is revealed, and they finally battle Astaroth's army and confront the evil mage himself. Not the best ending battle I've read, but it was a satisfying one. The ending scenes of Deva's future with her guys was also fun and entertaining. 4 stars

Book: Sweet Berries

Review:
So this is the second book in the Cambric Creek series. It is a Monster Romance and very different from what I normally read. It wasn't off-put by the monster aspect. The hero is a Mothman and the heroine is a human. It was very sweet, and very spicy when it came to the sex scenes, however the first book in the series was so much better! I appreciated that the character's got to know each other better while it was a romance I felt like there was more of a connection between the MC's in the first book. I would recommend this series for anyone who is dipping in to the Monster Romance genre. It was also a quick read. I'm trying to get through as many of those as possible to hopefully make my reading goal.

Requirement: Choose a book using one of the following options ...
* For "Plaid", read a book in featuring a Scottish character; a blanket on the cover or a character wearing something plaid or a character within the story who wears flannels; or an author's first or last name beginning with 'P'
* For PNR, read a book found on one of these shelves: GR PNR or SOS PNR
This is potentially a winning shelf for teams 5 & 9
