About a quarter of my to be read list, is available to borrow from my local library. I just wanted to come on here and drop a message asking people to check their local libraries elibrary and audiolibrary.You don't always have to read, you can listen to an audiobook.
I'm currently listening to : Flopping in a winterwonderland by Jason June. It is hot rubbish but its the fun kind so I've got it playing in the background however, for people who like lgbtq fiction, the two gay guys who recommended me F.T Lukens knew what they were on about AND four of the books I've had on my tbr list, are available in both ebook and audiobook format to borrow for free!
I'm gobsmacked I didn't know this was a thing sooner. I've put a list in of books I've had recommended from this group and the librarian told me they will let me know if they can get any of them in for me

This, I absolutely adore how you phrased it. I struggle with my identity and I'm 24, but the books that I read, the LGBTQ+ books is something that helps me feel human and normal. I find them relaxing and calming. In contrast to most straight books which make me feel like I'm wrong. I don't know how else to phrase it. I hope other people will find the courage to speak up about their experiences. ITs people within this community that have helped me grow and be my authentic self.

I'm a lurker and check to see what's happening occasionally as I'm not on here all the time. It's a great resource and I don't want to see it go away.

Yay! Librarians are our quiet warriors, which is why libraries are under attack. Books and libraries save lives, really and truly.
