I was able to push my way the rest of the book and finished it wednesday later in the day. Gave it a rating of 4. It was good I can see why you said what you did I think that kind of helped me. LOL. Maybe if my library gets the other books in the series when they come out I'll read those. probably won't check anytime soon.

I posted somewhere else that this was available on Kindle for $2.99 so I bought it. I have a couple other books ahead of it so unless I start pining to know what happens next I'll wait a bit.

Ok finished - I struggled for the first half - I just wasn’t connecting with the characters and the pace wasn’t fast enough for me (I am a greedy book monster) - but I did really enjoy the latter half - and am invested enough in the development of something (trying to stay super spoiler free) that I am considering the second book 😁 ..."
I had to check the title of this thread because this is EXACTLY how I feel about our current Group Read, The Fury by Alex Michaelides. At least I'm hoping I will feel that way at the end, am about halfway through now.
