I don't have one particular favorite author, I have a bunch, of which Jodi Picoult is one. I've been looking forward to reading this one for some time now :)

Started this a little early, because I'm listening to the audio version and it's 18 hours long, and my commute only allows me a little over an hour of listening a day. So far I am really enjoying it - the narration is especially wonderful.I'll admit to not being 100% on board with the plot line at first - I could not understand Sage's decision when dealing with Josef initially, although the more we learn and the more she talks to Leo and her grandmother, the more I understand her decision. I guess I still find it hard to believe that she would have made those choices initially though. I can see it leading to lots of arguments about morals and character in book club threads about this book!
I think so! I've read a bunch of her books that I really enjoyed (and this one is no exception so far). The only book of hers that I have read and didn't enjoy was The Pact. And I know lots of others who really like her writing as well.
I finished this a good month ago, but finally got around to writing my review. I really liked this book, but the annoying and useless side characters coupled with my disbelief about Sage's reactions led me to rate it 4 rather than 5 stars. You can read my review here
