Just wondering how people find hidden gems that become there favorite books/series. Youtube? Word of mouth? Goodreads?

Mostly Goodreads and also paperbackswap.com.
Goodreads, or books that I find in the libary.
by picking up something you'd never thought you would read or by starting something you didn't expect to like in the first place - it's how iv found most of my favourite books, most have surprised me and I have read them over and over and then read similar books
In bookshops in the UK, whenever I'm there on a holiday I visit many charity shops and bookshops and there are great finds and bargains that turn out to be surprising good reads!
