McKenna was charged as Damon's accomplice in her parent's murder. Was there sufficient evidence, in your opinion, for law enforcement to have made this leap? Should her abuse have had more bearing or could you understand their point of view?

To begin with yes, as the police had no way of knowing she was not a willing participant. Not really as I would hope her physical signs of abuse, the brand and the cigarette burns would carry more weight with authorities than the vindictive grief of her aunt.

I agree that maybe initially. But how they could ignore what had happened to her physically was troublesome. Especially with a child who'd had no experience with this level of violence. They didn't do their homework.
