McKenna is pretty formidable but yet was too fearful to seek out Damon and deal with him. What do you think of her reasoning for not being able to do so?

lorii (Loriidae) I found her reasoning very believable. Dealing with Damon also means going back to her most vulnerable state and all the feelings of unresolved guilt about the deaths of her family.

I thought it was believable, too. Damon represents something different and she's still suffering from PTSD, which he triggers.
