Trilogy: the war of lost hearts by Carissa Broadbent. It got me out of my reading slum. The magic system might be a bit confusing but nothing that can't be overlooked or actually disturbing.
King of Battle and Blood was one of the first ones I read! The writing is a little cheesy, but it’s easy to understand and pretty spicy if you like that!Everyone will suggest these, but they really are worth the hype in my opinion- A Court of Thorns and Roses, especially if you like romance! Or Throne of Glass if you like more of the adventure side and less of the romance/spice.

caraval is def really good to get into fantasy!!

The Crave series is where I started with fantasy!
Harry potter was my starting point. Even if you've seen the movies, there are things you learn from the books that the movies never told you.
Harry Potter and Percy Jackson are OBVIOUS starting points if you haven’t read all of them already.
I think very easy books to start with are: Caraval, shatter me, Percy Jackson :)
A Court of Thorn and Roses is a great series and a great intro to Fantasy. It's got nice easy world building (after you get settled in, map provided). Also has great characters, romance, and just enough spice.

Harry Potter was one of my favorites when getting into fantasy. Red Queen is also something I enjoyed reading a lot.
Once upon a broken heart triology, fourth wing , divine rivals ,ACOTAR, cruel prince these r my favs !
percy jackson, lockwood & co, shatter me are really good places to start!

I would say the Once Upon a Broken Heart trilogy, ACOTAR or The Mortal Instruments series would be a good place to start! ♡
