tmi but i keep bleeding through clothes/bedding

im on day 3 AND I KEEP BLEEDING THROUGH WHENEVER I SIT/LAY DOWN. ive ruined my new sheets and bedding i need help.

a heavier duty pad and/or tampon + try folding an old towel in half (any shade of dark color is a bonus) and putting it under yourself.. not a perfect solution but it should at least prevent stains on good bedding, sheets, etc.

you can always try layering underwear? that sometimes helps keep the pad in place better.

also for the sheets, if you wash them in cold water (should be a cold setting) then it should come straight out

God, being a girl can suck!! Tampon (that’s me for a heavier flow) or if you’re not comfortable with a tampon (which is TOTALLY normal!) double up on pads. My flows are really heavy so I will put one on front and more words the back because that will travel when you lay down!

If cramps are bad, take medicine and put a heating pad on your stomach. Enjoy some chocolate also, that’s the BEST part!!! If you find yourself bleeding uncomfortably and your periods are all over the place, go to a gyno (depending on how old you are!!!)

when I'm bleeding very heavily I just wear 2 pads at once so one at the front and another at the back idk if that makes sense but it prevents leaking through ur clothes and stuff

Ik this sounds weird but there are period diapers. I use them sometimes when my flow is really heavy

Literally what I do is use a size 5 pad (I am tiny but my flows are crazy) and change it every so often. If you use a tampon also use a pad with it. Once it slows down move down to a smaller size

There is this brand of period underwear called Thinx that is really comfortable and works great, so if you have a heavier flow I would suggest getting those and using a tampon with it. I hope it gets better for you, girl! If you don't want to use Thinx a heavier pad will work too.
