Rori | 121 comments I've never listened to Audiobooks. however I'm pretty sure that if you listen to audiobooks then there is no need to read the book before or after listening to it. that is the point of audiobooks you just listen to the book and not read it.

Cassidy | 347 comments Typically you can just pick a book to read in one format (audio or physical/e-book). I know some people like to follow along in a physical book while listening to an audiobook (I have done this before because I get easily distracted when listening to audios lol).

But really just depends on the person and what works best for you!

Cassidy | 347 comments As for recs- if you like dark things, Butcher and Blackbird is really good on audio! It’s like a production, with two different actors reading for the two main characters.

I would also recommend memoirs on audio if you like those! A lot of times they are read by the author so it’s a really fun way to connect to that person. Happy reading ◡̈
