I added this book to my TBR many years ago and I truly couldn't remember why. It may have something which intrigued me at the time but truly, this wasn't an easy listen. There were many names and with the 'joining' which then they lost their 'single' name but becomes a sort of multiple entity with sequential names (eg. Leap 1, Leap 2, and so on), you really got to stay focus and try to remember who's who! And I really did not have the brain for this lol Might have been better reading in black & white and with a notebook to jot down who's who.

"Join" is an interesting idea - another way to explore immortality, I guess, but I'm so very NOT tempted. The novel did bring a twist of it's not all sweetness with some sort of conspiracy theory behind it all so while there was some exciting action bit; there weren't many. But I cannot stress enough how important it is to remember who's who!
