Celia strolled through the shop, looking for good quills. And ink, she reminded herself. "Quills are worth nothing without ink." She ran her hand along the shelves, wondering if this place even had quillsand ink.

Breeze stood at the front desk, hands clasped. Nobody was there, so she called out, "Um...hello? I'm wondering where the...where the omnioculars are...?"

"I think they're over here," Celia called, pointing to where she'd seen them earlier. "And I also think that whoever owns this place is out or something."

Breeze's head whipped over to see a girl pointing at a couple of racks. "Oh, um, thanks." She walked over to the racks, not meeting the other girl's eyes.

"No problem," Celia said cheerfully, looking back at the shelf she was facing. "Though I don't see how we're supposed to pay for our stuff if there's no one here to take our money. Doesn't make any sense."

"You're right." Breeze mumbled.

"Of course I am," Celia said. "I mean, anyone could just steal something! Though maybe he-or she-has some kind of spell on it. That'd make the most sense, don't you think? I think I've just repeated the word 'sense' a few times now. Probably getting annoying. If I'm annoying just tell me to shut it, and shut it I will."

"Nope it's fine." Breeze looked at the price tags on the omnioculars. "These are pricey...."

"Everything's bloody pricey," Celia grumbled, finally finding the quills. "I'll be broke before I reach my sixth year."

"Unfortunately for me, I need to get quills," Celia sighed sadly. She grabbed a few, and some ink, and walked over to the front of the shop, looking around for whoever owned this place. "I'm Celia, by the way."

She looked at Celia shyly. "I'm Breeze."

"Nice to meet you," Celia said. "Pretty name. Hello? Anyone here?" This last part was shouted into the back of the shop.

Her cheeks instantly flushed red from the compliment. "Thank you.." Breeze's voice dropped to a whisper, but was veiled by Celia calling out to the unseen shopkeeper. "I think yours is pretty, too."

Poppy yawned and blinked. She was lying on the couch in the very back of her father's shop, and had just awoken from a small nap. She was 16, going on 17, so she helped out at Objets Magiques. A voice had woken her up, and suddenly Poppy realized that she should be tending the shop, not sleeping. She jumped out of bed, hastily fixed her look in the mirror, and then raced to the front desk.

"Oh, hello," Celia said to the shopkeeper. "I was beginning to think no one was here."
After buying her things, Celia walked back over to where Breeze was. "So, Breeze, you wanna hang out somewhere? I really have absolutely nothing to do now, and you seem like a cool person. Wanna be friends?"

Poppy blushed a bit. "Sorry, my father is out for the weekend, and I'm trying the best I can to catch up on sleep." She quickly helped her customer, and turned away, intent on organizing the desk for once.

Breeze smiled shyly. "Sure...where?"

"Hmm, what about la bouillabaisse? We can talk over a cup of coffee or something," Celia said. "Or we could just walk around Belleville if you'd rather."

"I'd rather walk around." Breeze said after a minute, not sure of that'd please Celia or not.

"Brilliant," Celia said, starting to walk towards the door. She glanced behind her shoulder at Breeze....who, Celia suddenly realized looked very attractive.

She tossed Celia a small smile and walked over. "Alright, let's go."
