Hey Pariss! Welcome to the group. Here's a few to choose from Romance:
-One Last Stop
-Delilah Green Doesn't Care
-She Gets the Girl
-The Headmistress
Historical Fiction
-Siren Queen
-The Hellion's Waltz
-Tipping the Velvet and/or Fingersmith
Fantasy
-The Empress of Salt and Fortune
-Legends & Lattes
-Gideon the Ninth (it's more sci-fantasy but I can't not recommend it lol)
Also, shameless plug, I'm looking for beta readers for my sapphic thriller if you're interested :3c
Let me know which of these you end up enjoying best and I can send you similar recs!
I just finished Delilah green doesn’t care, so sweet loved it, can’t wait to read the next two books Astrid Parker doesn’t fail and iris kelly doesn’t date, I’ll let you know if they’re just as good as the first one(:
Stay and Fight has a really nontraditional and genuine portrayal of a sapphic couple. also just an amazing book. although it's not a romance I found it to be super real and relatable
On a Sunbeam is a sci-fi graphic novel with absolutely stunning art. There are tons of lesbian characters and one of the main storylines is a sapphic romance.
The princess and the grilled cheese sandwich is a cute and quick read! It's a graphic novel based on cheese and secret identities in a Georgian style time period. The art is so pretty and the characters are wholesome!
I mean you can't go wrong with what I consider to be the best classic Sapphic horror book and, frankly one of the best depictions of a vampire in literature: Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu.
One last stop - One Last StopHer Royal Highness - Her Royal Highness
Cinderella is dead - Cinderella Is Dead
Some girls do - Some Girls Do
The henna wars - The Henna Wars
These are my favourite sapphic books that I've read!!
This is how you lose the time warhttps://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...
This book is hard to describe but it’s short and so beautiful and poetic and full of yearning. Definitely one of my favorites 💙
Try any book by Ruby Roe She has 2 Trilogy series: Girl games is done and the other one is almost finished , and there's still one on my TBR list and its called Honey Witch by Sydney J Shields
It's already recommended but I want to give another recommendation for Legends & Lattes if you like fantasy. It's very low-stakes and one of few books I really found "cozy", was great on a rainy day with a cup of tea especially.Tale of Three Ships has a pretty interesting relationship between Glen and Nona! I don't know if you want purely sapphic romance or it as a side arc, but it's the most significant relationship in the book.
The Henna Wars and Hani and Ishu’s Guide to Fake Dating by Adiba JaigirdarImogen, Obviously by Becky Albertalli
She Gets the Girl by Rachael Lippincott and Alyson Derrick
The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School by Sonora Reyes
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan (trilogy with a lot of violence like sexual assaults and physical and mental violences. It's amazing but really hard sometimes but it's not all the book because there are some moments where the readers can breathe.)
A librarian of a bookshop I go sometimes recommended to me In Defence of the Act by Effie Black and I haven't read it yet.
I'm also reading a sapphic book called 6 Times We Almost Kissed and One Time We Did by Tess Sharpe and it's so good so far!
I hope it helped!
The Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri, Her Name in the Sky and She Drives Me Crazy by Kelly Quindlen, One Last Stop and I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston, Wilder Girls by Rory Power, Kiss Her Once For Me by Alison Cochrun, Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
I enjoyed Plain Bad Heroines its a horror/gothic fiction that sapphic, as well as Learned by Heart which is wlw historical fiction that well written and heart wrenching. And of course if you're willing to brave the tome that is The Priory of the Orange Tree and get through the initial learning curve of fantasy names and places, it is a rich and building fantasy fill of dragons and magic and is sapphic as well. These are three I loved, I hope you find a read you enjoy as well!
