You'll enjoy Rebecca. I read it just last month but I'll keep my fingers crossed that it wins for you. I also read A Christmas Carol...which now makes this vote really interesting for me.

I agree, Rebecca is really good. I loved Outlander, but it is SO LONG. I really hope it doesn't win. At least we don't have to read all three!!
Whee Rebecca cause uuuh...I think I received it from a swap. REMINDS me to swap out some of my books when I finish reading. MEEP!For the winter task, I don't mind so much. I'm going to read Stupidest Angel anyhow for another club. And I've been meaning to read Xmas Carol.
If I was truly nutty and IGNORED my TBR, I'd make my Winter Challenge books all based around the holiday season :P
now we have alice ahead by 4,
princess bride ahead by 12 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cat 3 is now tied
and in cat 1 189 voted, cat 2 189 voted, cat 3 186 voted, those 3 missing people need to vote : )
Sara ♥ wrote: "You can NOT vote more than once... That would make this voting even MORE crazy!!"I think she may have been referring to like changing your vote or something... but, yeah, it would be totally crazy if you could just sit there and vote over and over again. Some people could put on an audiobook and just have at it!
Yeah, I don't really care about cat 3, so I've been changing my vote periodically, just to have fun with y'all... ;) Anyone want to buy my vote? *muahahahaha* (KIDDING)
alice is still ahead, Princess brides has a big lead and Christmas Carol just passed Angel by 1
about 24 hrs to go people : )
Somebody needs to get ahold of those people voting for Christmas Carol in the first category to change their votes in Classic to one of the front-runners.
Uh oh! What are we doing about a tie??? Poll #1 is tied and poll #3 is only one point difference...this is nerve racking!
They are closed and we have two ties: Rebecca and Alice and Charles Dickens and Stupidest Angel.Princess Bride won.
The other thing I find very interesting is the number of voters for each Cat differsCat 1 = 199 votes
Cat 2 = 200 votes
Cat 3 = 198 votes
I guess my question would be to voters, why do you think that is?
Could it be that one category is not as appealing as the others, or none of the books appealed to the voter?
Like I said, I find the whole thing very fascinating :0)
Would love to hear your insight or opinions on this
I'm creating run-off polls for those two categories - people will have between now and Saturday to vote. Hopefully that will break the ties.
Slayermel wrote: "The other thing I find very interesting is the number of voters for each Cat differs..."I don't know about the previous polls, but I will tell you for the run off polls, I only voted in the Christmas category. I've already read both Rebecca and Alice, and don't plan on reading either again, so I'm keeping myself out of it. I love trying to figure out why people do different things too, so hope that helps!

I've already read Outlander, Alice & Princess Bride and even though I have not read a Christmas Carol yet, it's not on my priority list *giggle*
