Colleen Hoover’s books am I missing something??

I have read 3 of her books and haven’t liked any of them. I’m not sure if it’s her writing style or the stories in general I don’t like. Yet people keep recommending them a lot. Am I missing something about them? (If you love her books tell me why 😊 or if you don’t also tell me why)

I have read 2 of them so far and I enjoyed them, I liked the more emotional aspect of her books. both of the ones that I read made me feel connected to the story and the characters more than other books that I have read. Although I think a lot of people dislike her books because of the tropes, they have a lot of unpopular tropes in them such as insta love and I believe that one or more has the cheating trope. I enjoy a lot of unpopular tropes so that's another reason why I like the books I have read from her so far.

I managed to read 4 of hers, all of which I rate a 3 or lower. They're not god awful. I finished them. But I really don't get the hype. I've had others who love her try and explain their devotion, it made zero difference. I just don't think it's good writing or story lines.

I've read it ends with us which I really loved
it starts with us which I didn't like
and November 9 which I read after iron flame because I wanted something light to get me out of slump and It worked I read it in one day
I can't say it was good but if you think you need a break after a heavy book her books are the best options

I’ve read Verity and It Ends With Us. I really liked both so maybe if you’re not enjoying them it may just be her writing style which you don’t like.

I was a big reader then stopped for a few years. Colleen Hoover was so hyped up so I read one of her books and she made me fall in love with reading again. Her books are over hyped yes, but she still has some really good ones that I love

I've read a couple of her books, first started on a recommendation saying they were so so so good and I would love them. Now I don't know if it is the hype or what but although I enjoyed them they weren't in my omg blown me away. Which 3 did you end up reading of hers?
