remove a book from your shelves

How do you remove a book from your book shelf that is not yours? I've tried to follow the instructions from the FAQ but it is not correct info.

If you're referring to the action as a user (such as removing books from 'to-read' or 'read' shelves), you should ask in the help section https://help.goodreads.com/s/ This doesn't concern librarians.

If you're an author and want to remove a book from your author profile (from your list of books), please post a request in this folder https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... specifying the book to be removed and providing a link to the relevant book.
