How do you find new books?

How do you find new books to read? I know there are a couple of good newsletters, such as BookBub but are there more? Or are there other ways you find books?

For me, in no particular order ...

1. Amazon - the list of 'explore similar books' or 'customers who bought this item also bought'
2. Goodreads - I hear about books through the discussions
3. Authors I've read before releasing another book
4. Friends recommending books
5. Seeing a film and then wanting to read the book (or wanting to read a book before the film comes out)
6. BookBub emails
7. Freebooksy emails
8. Someone mentioning a book in the review of one of my books and then me wanting to find out whether it's similar

I Wishlist books on BookBub (when I remember) so I know when they're reduced.

Always on alert for books, I find them in Little Free Libraries, library sales, in tea room corners or exchange baskets, charity shops, church sales . . .
