I loved this book when I read it. I may have to re-read so I can join the conversation for BOTM club. I really enjoy Lanie Taylor's other work as well, especially Daughter of Smoke and Bone.

Maybe I should have read a little further but I DNF d this one after a couple chapters. I thought the prose felt like it was written for kids
