“Nala you have been chosen as the third member of this quest please meet us in the big house after dinner” Chiron said with a booming bounce

Lana let Chiron lead the way back to the big house. She was silent the whole time. Still scared of this quest

Elijah split ways with Lana going back to his cabin to study on nymphs and nature he also packed a bag with extra ambrosia, nectar, and medical stuff

When Lana got back to her cabin she sat down. She didn’t want to go on this quest. What if she didn’t come back? She shut herself up and packed clothes, her emergency phone, a charger, and a lot of other stuff. Her backpack was a sage green one that had a lot of pockets
Elijah didn’t decide to pack his clothes right now but he decided he probably wasn’t going to get much sleep for a while so he took a nap
Lana sighed and pulled out her book. She spent the rest of the time before dinner reading. Paying little attention to her cabin mates

While Elijah was sleeping he got a visit from his mom his mom told him this was going to be hard that there will be sacrifices and he couldn’t let his heart ever get in the way of what had to be done he didn’t know what this meant but after he woke up he had a very unsettling feeling but he couldn’t let that stand in his way so he packed all the essentials and went to meet Lana in Demeter cabin
Lana had accidentally fell asleep when reading her book. In her dream she was running away from something with Nala and Elijah next to her. She had almost tripped and Elijah had helped her. They heard a roar and Elijah stopped to kill whatever was chasing them. She told him not to and he told her to run. While he wasn’t looking the monster came And killed him in front of her. She cried. And she woke up from the nightmare. She wasn’t screaming but she felt the tears falling down her face.
As he walked in Elijah saw Lana shoot up from her bed and assumed she had been sleeping
He didn’t notice at first but he realized she was starting to cry so he asked her what happened
“Nightmare. It’s nothing. I get them all t-time. I’m fine.” She had raised her hands up to wipe her eyes when she noticed she was shaking.
“No you are definitely not fine but don’t worry I will do everything I have to protect you, come on dinner is ready”
“Ok.” She exhaled and got up. Her legs were shaking so she held on to Elijah for support.
Lana grabbed onto him for support and they walked towards the pavilion they saw Nala at the head table so they decided to head there to

Lana and him sat down together and joined into the conversation as best they could
Lana wasn’t really paying attention. About a few minutes later Elijah bumped her shoulder to get her attention because someone had asked for her opinion
Elijah bumped Lana’s shoulder and told her “someone asked you for your opinion, are you ready to help people on this quest?”

“Oh. Uhm… yeah.”
They all stayed silent as they are dinner quickly

Lana closed her eyes and sighed, layed her hand flat on the bench. She was not ready for this at all. She did everything she could to not remember her dad or brother.
Elijah noticed Lana starting to breath heavy and was on the verge of a panic attack so he started tapping Morse code on her leg praying she new what it meant

She felt his tapping. She realized really quick WJAT he had tapped in Morse code “do you need to get out of here?” She nodded

“Ok” he tapped he held hands with Lana and they both stood up he then said “we should rest up for tomorrow so we are going to go now.” “What about talking about the quest after dinner?” Chiron asked “uhm well we are just going to do some extra packing then” he said quickly as they walked off
She had her hand over her heart trying to catch her breath and push all thoughts of her family out of her mind. “I-I’m sorry for ruining everything. I always do it and I don’t mean to.”
“You didn’t ruin anything flower girl you just panicked and I get it”
“I’m not ready for this quest. I’ve always known camp half blood as my home. What if go on this quest and don’t come back? I’ll just be another person gone. It’s not like i have a family to miss me.” She said looking down at the ground. “It’s just you.”
“We are all family here and I can assure you there are people here and out in the world that would care if you died and me…” he trailed off the sentence
“Hm?”
“Would you like some alone time before we have to get serious?”
“I don’t know what I want.”
“ I don’t know how to treat that flower girl” he said with a little giggle
“I don’t know about you owl head but I need to shower.” She said, she kissed him on the cheek and then walked away toward the showers
“Ok well I am going to do some last minute packing, meet at the big house in 30?”
“Sure!” She said and than ran off

*at the big houseElijah walks into the door and sees Nala already on the couch so he finds a spot to sit and waits for Lana to arrive
She was drying her hair when she realized she should have been at the big house by now. She ran out the door and all the way to the big house. She had slowed down when she reached the big house. Her hair was still wet and her shirt had fallen off of one shoulder.
