Do you read multiple books at a time?

Multiple books at a time. I pick different genres and find that some of my books take too much concentration on certain days. So I often will pick a more serious book and then add a fantasy or romance to fit the mood of the day. Currently, I am reading 3 books.

I usually am reading a physical and something on my Kindle app when it's too dark to be reading the physical one
about 3-5 at a time with usually at least 1 graphic novel and 1 short story collection included in that. I mix up genres too so it's like channel surfing.
No. I like to focus on one story at a time.
Yes, I listen to audiobooks in the car, and usually have ebooks that I am reading at a time (unless one of them is really, really, don't-want-to-put-it-down good). I am reading Rednecks and it is amazing.
Yes, I read 4 books at a time sometimes, it depends on how much free time I can have, if I have almost no free time I only read 1 book.
well... right now I'm reading 8 books at the same time, and considering so yeah, I read multiple books at the same time. but I e decided to finish at least three before starting a new one
Usually 2 at a time, Day book and evening book which also means that if one of the books has me a little bored, I can flick to the 2nd to get through the fatigue.
I used to read one book at a time because I always wanted to finish what I started before reading another one, but I noticed that even when I lost interest in the book, I continue even if I didn't enjoy it. So now I read multiple books at a time. That way, I get to enjoy my favorite hobby while maintaining my interest in the books. :D
Sometimes I have more than book going at once especially if I am reading horror books back to back I will read something lighter before bed.
only way i can readi have 14 books to read and im readin abt half of those currently

I am not sure if i answered this already but i usually am reading 2-3 books at a time. Usually a fiction book and a couple of non-fiction books subjects revolving around crime, forensics, psychology, sociology or meditation.
I do read many books at once. I have a running list of books I'm interested in reading. I secure them in different formats depending on when they are available from the library or inexpensively on Kindle or Thriftbooks. Some are for book clubs, one is to read at the end of the day, one is a pool/beach read, some are audio or on my tablet.
Yes usually two. I'm reading a physical copy of My Heart Is A Chainsaw and listening to an audible of Mary: An Awakening of Terror.
Yes, I do. I'm a mood reader and I have decided to just lean into that. I read what I feel like reading, no apologies. So I do have multiple books going at a time.

Yes.. work - audible, and at home I have a book in my living room, one in my room and sometimes a different one in my home library lol and sometimes I am just switching form audible to ebook to physical - I'm a little wacky like that. LOL

I do, namely because of travel, I like to change it up, and there are certain genres I prefer in differing formats.I usually have 3 going at a time, where I have a hard copy, then digital, and an audiobook going.
Each format I will choose a different genre or theme, so I don't really get confused on plots.
For example, audio will be an Agatha Raisin romance, then digital will be sci-fi or something light, then hardcopy will be a history book.
I dont like to read multiple books at a time, and I find that I tend to this more when I'm in a reading slump and am looking around more for books that can keep my attention

Yes, I like different things for different moods. I usually read 5 types of books at the same time - a novel, a poetry collection, a prose collection, a nonfiction book, and a fifth genre that varies from children's books for relaxation to biographies or science magazines (not really a book) - whatever is interesting at the time.
yep! I usually have a physical book, audio book & a kindle book going at all times.
Like a lot of people here, one per device! Physical book for reading outside, e-book for reading before bed, and an audiobook while driving.
I try not to read too many at once, because it affects my flow and general enjoyment. But I often end up reading 2 books at a time. One fun, one for uni. OR one audiobook, and one physical.
I like my books one at a time. I used to have a rule that I must finish every book that I started. But I don't follow that rule anymore. If I don't like to book by 1/3 of the way through I will stop reading it.

I didn't use to, but lately I've been reading 3 or more books at a time. They're usually very different kinds of books, like at point I had an adult fiction book, an essays book, and a graphic novel simultaneously, both so I don't confuse them and so I have something to read based on my mood in the moment.
I generally read a fiction book and a non-fiction book at the same time. I set a goal to read at least one non-fiction book per month. It makes me feel less guilty for all the other fiction / romance books I read, lol. I mix it up between interesting historical topics, memoirs, self help sorts.
