Hi everyone,

Sorry this is half a month late - I got back from my holidays on the 7th and the whole Lawless household has been sick ever since.

As such I've done little reading - and trying to save my remaining strength for my copy edits which are now in.

While I have your attention - I was going to run this past you?
What do you think of me setting up a private discord group? On one hand, I use discord more and think it might be more active, but on the other hand it would take me a little while to set up.

I'd love your thoughts!

And obviously - tell me what you've been reading!

I've been reading Sword of the War God and Black Tide Son by H.M. Long

Both are excellent so far - once I feel a little better I'll be continuing with both.

Stephen Richter (stephenofskytrain) | 23 comments I am reading The Book That Broke the World, the second book in The Library Series by Mark Lawrence. I have a second Pre-Order coming in at the end of the month, The Emperor's Sword by Christian Cameron. It is the sixth book in the Historical Fiction series Chivalry. The POV in the series is William Gold, who shows up in the historical records twice, when Gold gets a battlefield knighting then later on receives some land for his services. Cameron has filled in the years with an amazing tale rich in details.

Sorry to hear about the sickness, hope you all recover swiftly! Take care :)

I am always on Discord, so I would love a private group with all you lovely peeps! And no rush to set it up, just take all the time you need.

Anyway, I have been listening to Empire of the Damned which is freaking fantastic. And I am reading Just For the Summer by Abby Jimenez for the BalAncE hahah.

Sending hugs your way!!

Hope you're feeling better Shauna! Our ones were the same last week; always fun trying to work with no childcare haha.

Discord idea I think is great! If you need a hand setting it up just shout.

Currently reading The Words of Kings and Prophets - you've probably heard of it 😂 When Tomas enters in his priest gettup, you know sh*t about to go down. Loving it!

Oh yes - I've heard of that book!! And yes, I quite agree regarding Tomas... always bad news that one - especially when he's pretending to be a monk! lol
