Eirian coils back and grabs the hilt of her sword.

"What... or who is that?"

"O-ok. . ." said Eirian lowering her hand.

Seeing that she is no longer wanted or needed, Selina stood up and headed for the door cursing under her breath

"Wait. . . what?" asked Eirian looking at Jin, slightly confused. "What people would have a use for, a . . . creature like this?"

"I. . . don't know, heavy labor maybe?" said Eirian shrugging.

Eirian followed slowly and looked around the room with a curious look on her face.

"It's. . . interesting." said Eirian looking around. "What kind of research do you do here? This is a. . . weapons lab right?"

Eirian made a gasping sound and took a step back from the table.

Eirian looked at the boy and nodded slowly. "Alright."

"I, already have this." said Eirian holding up her rapier. "It's outfitted with special lacrima. . . but they seem to run out of charge really fast." Eirian frowned a bit and looked at Jin.

"I, have no natural magic of my own."

Eirian reached for the rapier and looked it over.

"Thank you." she said staring at it.

Legio materialized up on the Mai. floor, made sure no one was around and started taking weapons again. Legion, sensing his presence, stood up for he had sat down just outside the elevator. He put his fingers to his forehead and dematerialized away upstairs. Leigo and Legion stare at each other.

"You didn't have to do this." said Eirian looking up at JIn.

Eirian frowned and put her hand on her sword.

"Again, really?"

"Jin. will you be alright?" asked Eirian looking at her. "I can handle this."

Eirian frowned, but nodded and took a step back

Eirian took another couple steps back and watched with a rather horrified look on her face.

Legio laughed. The spliced monster disappeared.
"You can not take the monster away from me!" he said as he blew back everything in the room to the walls. As they watched, monster appeared.

Eirian pulled her sword, and a magic circle appeared on the ceiling.

"I call upon thee, holy light of our Brightest star, starlight so pure that no evil can withstand its divine presence." chanted Eirian, the lacrima on her person glowing in pure white light.

The monster ran at Eirian and raised a massive claw to hit her, the light having no effect, but as it swung, Legion jumped in the way, and was thrown across the, hitting the wall where weapons cascaded down in him. The gashes across his chest burned, and seemed to get deeper by the second

Eirian scowled and opened her hand.

"Gods Rays." she said, the light taking a more solid form. Holy light rained down from the magic seal, hitting the monster in a relentless downpour. Burning its skin.

"Any evil within you will fade into nothing-ness, monster." she said her hand starting to burn from the powerful light emitting from it.

The monster flinched, and then roared. The burns healed and we're not replaced with more burns. Instead, the monster seemed to become more sinister.
"E-Eriran...Jin..."spits Legion from the floor. "Y-You can't kill it that way...only another monster of its c-callibur c-can. It absorbs whatever weakens it and uses it to become s-stronger..." he coughed up blood, the gashes in his chest believe deeper still. The monster roared and rose it's paw again to strike Eirian.

"I'm not trying to kill it." said Eirian pouring more power into her spell. "I am suppressing the dark magic inside of it."

The monster brushes Jin's monster aside as if it were nothing.
"That won't work!" spits Legion again from the floor. "Nothing that either of you have will work!"

((Whats the point in fighting a monster that we can't beat no matter what?))

Legion stood up, holding his bleeding wounds. He yelled, and from him came a monster like Leigo's only his didn't radiate as much evil as Leigo's, but Everton else was the same.

EIrian lifted her spell and knelt down on the ground. She huffed and looked at her hands.

"I can't beat it. . . my most powerful spells don't even affect it." muttered Eirian staring at her burnt hands. "There's no point then. . . my Holy Magic . . . it just shrugged it off. . . i'm worthless."

Eirian closed her eyes and stumbled to her feet.

"I should just leave, so I won't be in the way."

Eirian squeaked and looked at the woman.

"Put me down! And what do you mean "I can't leave yet" I'm no help here!" said Eirian squirming away from the woman and standing up.

Eirian made a strangled screaming sound and pushed Jin away from her.

"What the heck was that?!" she asked, her voice cracking.

"Let me go!" snapped Eirian pushing Jin back again before she fell over onto the floor.

"C-Canis..." she muttered struggling to stay awake.

Eirian groaned and shook her head.

"What's going on?"

Eirian flinched and tried to move.

"What are you doing? Stop that!" she cried looking at her with a slightly panicked look.

Eirian tried to break free, or scream.

"S-stop it!" she cried tearing up a bit.

Arachne was walking passed when she heard screaming. What the? she thought then walked into the building hastily to investigate

Eirian groaned and tried fighting back, she made an angry hissing sound at in before losing consciousness.

Feeling a strange magical power, Arachne continue up stairs ((I think?)) towards the room. "Hmm, my spider senses are tingling." she thought aloud and made for the strange magic

There was a thundering noise from above the room. the whole building seemed to shake and there was a roaring sound from somewhere in the building.

Arachne fell over from the buildings shaking. "What the?" she said again then hurried to the room and tried to open it, finding that it was locked she knocked on the door instead. "Hello?"
